Frequently Asked Questions

  • No referral is required. Families are welcome to book directly if they have questions or concerns about their child’s development or comfort.

  • If something doesn’t feel quite right to you, it’s worth exploring. Many families reach out for feeding challenges, reflux or colic, head preference, oral and body tension, bowel/bladder issues or questions about movement and development. But you don’t need a diagnosis or referral to get started- listening to your intuition is enough.

  • You don’t need a “big” concern to seek support. If something feels off to you, that matters- you know your child best. Many parents reach out because they have a sense that something isn’t quite right, even if they’ve been told to “wait and see.” You don’t need to have all the answers and listening to your intuition is a valid place to start.

  • Kidnetic is an out-of-network, private pay practice. This model allows me to provide high-quality, unhurried care that’s tailored to each child, without the limitations often placed by insurance-based visits. Many families find that this approach leads to fewer visits and more meaningful progress. I’m happy to provide a detailed receipt if you’d like to explore reimbursement through your insurance provider.

  • Our first visit begins with a conversation about what you’re noticing, experiencing and what brought you in. I’ll observe your child’s movement, postures and positioning and provide hands-on care as appropriate, while sharing education and simple strategies you can use at home. Each visit is responsive to your child’s needs and guided by your goals as a family.

  • Every child is different. Some families notice meaningful changes quickly, while others benefit from ongoing support over time. We’ll check in regularly and make decisions together based on how your child is responding to care.

  • There is no additional fee for your in-home visits- this is accounted for in my session fees. If you have further questions about fees, I’m always happy to talk them through.

  • No special setup is needed. I recommend going about your regular routine, including your child’s usual feeding and nap schedule. Working within your everyday environment helps make care more practical and easier to implement.

  • After booking, you’ll receive intake paperwork to complete prior to your initial visit. This helps me better understand your concerns and allows us to make the most of our time together.

  • Yes. I always wear a mask during cold and flu season and am happy to mask at any time by request. I also ensure that all tools and equipment are thoroughly sanitized before entering your home. Your family’s comfort and safety are a priority. If you have specific health or safety preferences, please let me know, I’m always happy to accommodate.
